President of Indonesia Encourages Students of Taruna Nusantara High School to Be Optimistic Looking at the Future

President Joko Widodo Pagi held a meeting with students and high school students Taruna Nusantara in the State Palace, Jakarta. To about 393 students who attended the occasion, the Head of State instilled optimism to become the future of a better Indonesian nation.

“I would like to invite to optimize the future that will be a great country with hard work, hard work, and we must believe that 2045 that Indonesia will be a country that entered the top five world economies,” the President said on Monday, April 9, 2018.

The vision of Indonesia Golden 2045 as he called it, according to the President, is not always to be realized. In that year, the Head of State believes that Indonesia became the top five countries with the world’s largest economy GDP Indonesia reached USD9, 1 trillion with per capita income USD29.300 out of 309 million population.

Meanwhile, in Bappenas, McKinsey, and World Bank, Indonesia is expected to reach the largest economies with the strongest economy in the world in 2030.

Estimates – the value can be realized if all elements of the nation willing to work hard, resistant to test, and resilient. He said that no country has ever been able to freely become big, as quoted from the release of Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat, Bey Machmudin.

“This country will be a strong country of its economy if we are able to overcome the obstacles that exist.When we are able to navigate the existing tests, there must be obstacles, there must be obstacles, and able to overcome the existing trials,” he said .

To that end, the Head of State convey his message to the students of Taruna Nusantara to be a tough person who will advance the nation of Indonesia.

“As a generation that will lead this country must be tough, test-resistant, not crybaby, and not spoiled, especially lazy,” he said.

Furthermore, the President again explained that infrastructure development which is currently the initial foundation for the country to be able to compete with other countries. Equitable infrastructure development throughout Indonesia is also to realize social education for all Indonesian people.

“Seventeen thousand people need these infrastructures, inter-island and intercity connections such means,” he said.
